Yes! We offer FREE shipping within Virginia and North Carolina on 90-day medication supplies for all employees and dependents enrolled in the CPS health plan.
To sign up for mail order, please call Washington Shoppes at 757-606-1956.
Patients must call the pharmacy in advance to have their prescriptions filled then shipped. Most 90-day supplies can be filled at least 10-14 days early to allow for mailing. We try to have all maintenance medications refill at the same time.
Please allow 5-7 business days to receive your mail order package.
We do not mail over-the-counter items.

Yes, we do not ship acute medications such as antibiotics. Patients need to start taking or using the medications sooner than they would be delivered.
Mail order also excludes refrigerated or narcotic controlled prescriptions.

Yes, we offer 90-day fills (excluding medications that are not eligible by state and federal law) for added convenience and less trips to the pharmacy.

No, automatic refills on medications can become wasteful when medications are changed / discontinued. To ensure that you still need the medications, we ask that you call to refill for both pickup and mail order prescriptions.

Yes! To transfer existing prescriptions, your pharmacy team will need the patient’s name, date of birth, current pharmacy name and phone number, and the medications that you want to move.
To send new prescriptions via E-scribe, please provide the information above to your clinician.

All employees and retirees are welcome to take advantage of the savings on over-the-counter products bought at wholesale prices. Manufacturer coupons are also accepted and will save even more.
Employees, retirees, and family members on the CPS health plan have full-service access to all pharmacy services.
The pharmacies only process CPS health insurance, therefore, those not on a CPS health plan can not use the pharmacy to fill prescription medications.

Yes, the pharmacies carry generic, brand, and specialty medications. There are a few limited distribution items. Ask the pharmacist if you have questions. We may have it in stock or can order it the next day.
The pharmacies also offer OTC (over the counter) items at cost. There is a great selection of vitamins, cough/cold/allergy, eye care, dental care, Tylenol, ibuprofen, etc.

Unfortunately, no. Due to strict pharmacy board regulations, CPS Wellness Center Pharmacy cannot compound medications.

Yes. However, some cards have limitations that require primary insurance coverage first.
We do not accept Good Rx or SingleCare cards.
